Seismic Attenuation Correction
On very deep surveys, the user may want to compensate the recorded for seismic wave attenuation losses. By default, the GeoSuite system does not compensate for seismic attenuation losses. A typical recorded wave form would look similar to the trace below.
To apply Seismic attenuation correction select the "Apply Seismic Attenuation Correction" option on the "Aquire Data" menu or the "View/Edit Point Data" menu.
Once selected, the point stack data trace may look something siilar to this.
Accept Changes
To apply the changes made the user must accept the cahnges by tapping on the "Accept" button.
